What started as a new chapter in my life has grown into a business that I’m incredibly proud of—and I’m grateful for every client who has trusted me with their home.

From Military Service to Cleaning

My journey toward owning a cleaning business wasn’t exactly a traditional one.

During my final year of high school, I enlisted in the military and went on to serve as a Military Police officer. My time in the military taught me the importance of discipline, responsibility, attention to detail, and doing a job the right way.

After deploying to Iraq in 2009, I carried those experiences and values with me into the next chapters of my life.

That attention to detail eventually became an important part of the way I approach cleaning.

When I’m cleaning someone’s home, I don’t want to simply rush through a checklist. I want to notice the details, take pride in the finished result, and make sure my clients feel like their home has been genuinely cared for.

Finding a New Path

For 18 years, I also worked intermittently at the same restaurant. It became a familiar part of my life and taught me a lot about hard work, consistency, and connecting with people.

When the COVID-19 pandemic changed so many aspects of everyday life, it also gave me an opportunity to step back and consider what I wanted to do next.

Cleaning had always been something I genuinely enjoyed, so I decided to take a chance on myself and start my own cleaning business.

That decision changed my life.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted Chelsea’s Cleaning Crew to be different from a typical cleaning company.

I don’t want my clients to feel like they’re simply booking a service with a company they’ve never met. I want to build a relationship with them.

Your home is personal. You’re trusting someone to come into your space, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

One of the things I value most about running my own cleaning business is getting to know my clients and forming genuine connections with them.

Rather than constantly having a different person show up at your door, I strive to provide consistency and familiarity whenever possible. I want my clients to know who they’re welcoming into their home and to feel comfortable knowing that their home is being cared for by someone they trust.

My military background taught me to pay attention to details, and I bring that same mindset to my work today.

I take pride in doing things thoroughly and leaving each home looking and feeling its best.
